TRAVEL VLOG# MARAM/SENAPATI

It was mid April, the later part of the  Spring season here in Manipur.
We start our journey from Imphal by 1: o'clock evening where our bus was almost gone when we reached the parking which might delay us more than we were late.
Being allergic to diesel engine smell, I sit near the driver towards the passengers and I got little dizzy while Bro Salinba stay comfortably at the back seat. I could not view the beautiful scenery all along the highway on my first halfway journey.

It was 3:00 pm when we reached Senapati. I could not even phone all those Maram friends to confirm for our night stay. My phone's display was totally destroyed as well as no battery problem so I took Salinba's bro phone....

We started our journey to Maram from senapati as soon as we could catch the vehicle on board. I were more dizzy and uncomfortable as we are in Sumo which is more airtight than the previous bus plus indeed the driver was not experience driver. Later we came to know that the driver was one of the main driver's friend. Our vehicle almost hit the incoming car and truck for so many times, and with that one of our elderly passenger ask him to be more cautious on his way.
We were nine(9) on board, one old man was talking about education system of present days with one man just next right to him refering to students in Delhi NCR. He said, one of his son was in Delhi undergoing graduation. After his children were grown up they(with his wife) have no more time to rest and have good foods comparing the past day when their children were with them thinking for their children's schooling. He may thought of buying something new for the family properties or anything for the convenience of the family they could not do so as continuous flow of money/wealth is done for their children. He further said, being a father and mother of a schooling children there were no more enjoyment like those of their early parents life. Those talks of the elderly man sent me a strong sentiment on my life background where my parents struggle so hard ; toils and crawls for our sack.........

Looking back to our self, we , being a student should struggle harder wasting less time, avoiding leisure and labouring more deeper for the fruits that they have been waited on us.
Our parents have already sacrificed their life for their children now from the time they brought us to the world of struggle for the fittest.

It also reminds me how they've struggled for the family especially their children including me. They have no enough food to eat, clothing to put on, money for maintaining the family. Parents worked hard sweating whole day and chilling whole night making their products hard to adjust  the family's requirements.
We complaint that were not given a good dresses like those of our friends do, that we were not given the good foods and our tuition fees were paid lately. It was a time of depression, sad for our Dad and Mom whenever we complaint such things. Of course they bought us new dresses, good foods, paid the school fees, books, but those money were actually brought with sweats, toiling day and night spending all just for their children's happiness and future. They will never tell us that we complaint them too much instead they would comfort us with smile in their eye telling surely we will do so everything you ask and needed for and will find a way to satisfy us whether by borrowing or anything in their approaches.

When I rethink it back to those days it struck my poor heart, melting it to let me breath heavily once.  Yes the old man are telling the truth and students/children should not be made to forget what they have done to grow and making them learnt despite of losing their beautiful beauties, health and everything just to better us tomorrow.

We reached Army camp where the view of Maram college was very clearly. Salinba was looking out of window nodding himself 😁. Finally we reached Maram center where we ate one bread each waiting someone to come and pick us up. Bro Majibou thiumai along with his friends came to pick us from Kavinam colony, we met at the roadside and went to his house for a few minutes and later Bro Sachuiba and Samuel came again and we walked out again to stay for the night there. We went up for buying some foodstuff, and bought one Kilo of Chicken dress and some ingredients. Sachuiba was the Chef that night. We ate, rested the night there.

We waited for the confirmation wether we could get admission or not. We went out after lunch with few documents in our hand and met vice principal of the college and talked about the admission procedure. It was already closed!!  The admission was not possible for those lesser marks in +2 for undergraduate in BA. We came proudly as our mark percentage was 84% which is in Topper 25 list of COHSEM and then the staff welcome us gladly, actually they tried hard not to let those student who secure more than they expect them to come to their college. We were asked to come back the next day because of the urgent meeting in Guwahati the principal was out of station hoping us that the admission was mere a problem.
It was Saturday, I waited for some hour and as I've my exam much closer than I'm to stay another day in Maram so I went back late in the evening. I caught the last bus at senapati,I boarded on the top of the bus and viewing every beauties , scenery by the roadside, the greenish covering of the hilly slopes, reddish brown gulmohar flowers all along the two sides of me letting me expressionless to echoing till for a few days.

Travels a far brings beauties---- learnt to learn from the story of everyone, learnt to forget sad stories, and learned to analyse what can be use in modifying ourselves....
